I think you meant to quote the post I quoted haha... but personally as far as that quote, I take the tree/leaves metaphor as tying into the larger themes of religious faith. Perhaps the narrator hoping to be part of a “tree” symbolizes the hope for being a part of something greater (like the afterlife). I’ll admit I’m not totally sure either... it’s really pretty imagery though. Matty is such a great songwriter.
Guysssss please just focus on Notes haha. I really don’t care for live albums at all. Find it super hard to get into live music unless I’m there. Obviously watching live DVDs can be cool, but just casually listening to a live album isn’t something I can usually do.
But Iiiiiiii like live albums! This band can do whatever they want lol I’m sure it has a negligible impact on anything Notes related
Paha I know. Just they always seemed so scatterbrained with a hundred different ideas and side-projects that never actually come to fruition. I’m impatient for Notes damn it.
Well yeah. But I still don’t think they need two...it wasn’t massively long ago since the last one. I can’t think of any band I’d like two of those from either. Especially within what, two years or so of each other.
I feel like they'd make the set purposefully pretty different from the 2016 O2 set, though. Plus by then they'd ideally have Notes out.
That’s a given yeah, I still just think it’s a bit daft releasing two live albums within such a short space of time but hey, opinion ha. If it came out next year alongside the whole MFC era package thing I’d understand it more I guess.
This is the best setlist of tour so far. If they swapped fallingforyou. with Medicine it'd be perfect. The 1975 Setlist at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, San Francisco
Man, saw them last night at Bill Graham. A man took all of his clothes off in the middle of the crowd and Matty called him out "thats why I dont do drugs...anymore", they escorted him out. WILD show.
