Don’t mind the delay, whatever it takes to get the quality they always deliver.

 

More time for the album to be great! excited to hear the many different sonic directions they'll be exploring. I also don't mind the new album art, I get it. Very On Brand™

 

I think I'd like it more if the title suited it more? If that makes sense. Notes on a Conditional Form sounds so formal and...simple to me.

Not sure how I feel about the art. I think it fits with the band, I don't think it fits with the title of the album and I both dislike and like it lol

 

Didn't someone say something along the lines of Carbon Footprint about the Boot World thing? Also, I'm very cool with Boot World being the album title.

I'm reading that Matty did an IG live and confirmed the April 24 release date. Said they are releasing 1 new song a month til the album is out, for a total of 7 pre-release songs. "Me & You Together Song" is track 11 on the album, "Frail State Of Mind" is track 4

I think the album art sucks but if they changed the title to Boot World, I would like it.

That's true! I do find it humorous that by the time this comes out it will have been almost a regular amount of time between albums.

But I'm totally down to give them the time they need!

I know you're all super forgiving of them and everything but announcing an album that hasn't even been written was a dumb idea and the constant delays/postponing tours to scramble to finish it is proof. For a band that seems to be very committed to an aesthetic and mood for each album, this one seems very slapped together and messy.

This is the least excited I've been for anything they've done, the hype train derailed...backwards?
