Actually, both of those ideas sound fairly reasonable, something Matty would potentially be aiming for with the emojis. Unless someone here has a more concrete answer I'll go with those, haha

Really hoping 22 songs doesn’t mean 10 songs padded with interludes. Hungry for loadssss more 1975.

They should get an outside producer and cut it down to 10-12 great songs and not a bunch of songs I regularly skip.

It’s the downside of a thread constantly being bumped with long drawn out teases but no new album?

 

I want to be clear, I really like this band. I absolutely love most of their music. But they need an editor. I’ve said it since ILIWYS that they aren’t a band that should be releasing 17 (and ESPECIALLY 22) song albums.

my opinion, but it is what it is. I really hope this new song is great and inspires confidence I used to have for them.
