How does everyone feel about Inside Your Mind?

    Fly Eagles Fly

I like it, but I certainly don’t love it. Not really sure why. Just doesn’t reach the upper echelon of songs on that album for me

    A great poster/person with opinions I don’t hate. Prestigious

Love it, also still feel like they took heavy influence from the Boys Next Door version of Shivers and that song is incredible.

Mike Stoklasa's Summary of Jurassic World

Surrounded is definitely one of my favorite songs on that album. That bass line that kicks in a minute or so in is sooo good.

That's a fine take. Easily one of their worst.

faint metronome on my left side

It’s my least favourite song on the record. Below the Siri song.

I only became an actual fan instead of just a casual listener when ABI came out but I genuinely believe It's Not Living is their best song

    thank u, next Prestigious

A Brief Inquiry is easily my favorite of theirs & imo has perfect sequencing. And, I enjoy every track, never wanna skip any when giving it a proper listen through (which I don't do as much w/ albums w/ my casual listening these days, which further emphasizes my love of A Brief Inquiry).

Gonna be an easy top 5 (at least) album of the decade if I attempt such a list for sure.

Also, like, I still listen to the robot track that y'all were writing off when the album dropped; not even my least listened track on there.

Honestly all three of their albums have fantastic flow but ILIWYS is some next level shit.

So Notes is going to have incredible flow, some stretches people think are boring, its going to be perfect, and half of us are going to be apathetic about a quarter of it.

just mentally prepping myself for Feb

I love their minimalist instrumental stuff. So much so that I tried my hardest to sequence the EPs and “Medicine” together as an album. It’s probably my favorite thing the band has done just because they do it so well.

At this point though they’re so versatile they could put on any genre hat and pull it off well. I can’t wait to see what the next single from Notes will sound like

If you skip the robot song your a dweeb. It has the love theme attached which is amazing

and I still stand by the fact that the "content" and delivery of the robot song brings together the overarching theme of the album. the album wouldn't have nearly the same impact if it wasn't there

    Fly Eagles Fly

I loveeee Surrounded By Heads And Bodies. One of my faves from ABI

I'll skip robot if it comes up on shuffle but not when I'm listening to the full album

Robot is one of very few instances where Matty’s pretentiousness comes across poorly and not charming like usual. It just kinda makes me cringe a bit.
