Wow Bodkins is a master. Thanks for putting it into words.
Merely a student. I just like dissecting song really lol, thank you though.
Analysis is very insightful and way deep, but I will say I still don't like the structure of breaking that chorus up. Without another hook it kinda falls flat for me. But that's not to say it isn't a well composed song
The last page and a bit of this thread > the two pages before it lol
Join us next week as @bodkins breaks down Love It If We Made It.
Has anyone made the "and the record begins with a song of rebellion" joke about the first track yet? If not, first.
I did ittttttttt you’re second though not bad
I'll take it!
what the hell is going on in here
Bodkins is giving us an education
@bodkins out here single-handedly salvaging this dumpster fire of a thread
got pit tickets for camden somehow i am stoked
file under "if you like the 1975 you'll probably dig this":
I walked into a Kohl's a few weeks ago and a cover of TooTime was playing. I was so thrown off.
This is not a good cover.
Yeah it was super disappointing but so was their latest album, so meh
Lol exact same thing happened to me, I literally said "this is awful" when I heard it
This is now officially a Jamie Squire and John Waugh appreciation post.
I got pit tickets for both nights in Camden and now my wallet is hurting
Playing a holiday festival in San Diego. They’re the headliner with only 3 other bands nowhere near as popular as them so I hope to get a decently long set
Someone in the tour thread said 90 minutes.
The 1975 & Catfish on the same night would be pretty rad!
91X said they would do a 90 minute set. It’s a Thursday and isn’t being billed as Wrex the Halls which is their usual holiday show.
Looks like we’ll be getting a video for People when it drops.
Will i drive from LA to SD on a THURSDAY smh
