The choir vocals are what make that song as good as it is

Yeah I've always been this way. I like going into albums as blindly as possible.

What did you think of Please Be Naked and Lostmyhead and, really everything since then?

Please Be Naked was so good. 100 times better than any of the instrumentals from the debut (which I also enjoyed for that matter). Lostmyhead was also really good. I'm on Somebody Else right now. I sort of don't remember The Ballad because something grabbed my attention at work. I'll focus on that one more on my next listen.

Please Be Naked is one of my favorites from the album. Pretty much all of the instrumentals on this album fit so well, none of them feel out of place at all.

Somebody Else was a highlight. Love the chorus on that one.

Listened to this after Jason recommended it pretty hard on Facebook or Twitter. Haven't followed the band at all, but damn I liked this a lot...WAY more than I anticipated.

Same here. At this point in time (two weeks with new album) I'd still say that song fully encompasses this band.

Also self proclaimed music nerd did his review. Was surprised he enjoyed some thing as much as he said. What he didn't like was expected and his reasoning was obviously flawed.

Has this album really only been out for two weeks now? I guess almost three since the peak but wow feels like It's been out for so long. I've played it so much.

I feel the same. This could be one the best Top 10's ever for me if the years follows the same trajectory.

I've listened to hardly anything this year and it's still been pretty great so far.

I think this band just must not be for me. I liked Chocolate, especially the acoustic version they did, quite a bit, but I gave the debut at least six separate shots over the last few years and it never grabbed me.

Just finished my first listen of this. It's an incredibly polished record, but it's not really a sound that I particularly find myself enjoying? It felt way too long for me, and I totally recognize I'm in the minority here. I'd maybe revisit a few tracks from the first half, particularly "A Change of Heart." I got really excited for "Paris" -> "Nana" -> "She Lays Down" after seeing so much hype about it... "Paris" just didn't do it for me; felt like "Every Breath You Take" to me. "Nana" was phenomenal, though.

Yesterday I sat down with the lyrics for a few songs I had bee missing before.

"The Ballad of Me and My Brain" is truly something special. The delivery of every line is insane.

Ha yeah it's well into double digits now I believe. It was incredible. Everything blew me away from the set to the sound to the stage production. Legitimately one of those things I wish I could relive all over again. The stage production seemed even more intense and bright this time around too. The crowd is bathed in light for so much of the set that it just adds to the atmosphere. Choir was there. They also swapped a few tracks (so wouldn't be surprised if they do this a bunch moving forward - despite my previous thoughts to the contrary) and ended the main set with "Girls" and the encore with "Sex".
