im like weirdly sentimental right now watching this is that just me??? ive traveled to other cities and states to see them during this era. i saw them 6 times (i think i lost track a little bit) under this album cycle alone. probably gonna spin the whole record later.

 

You're not alone, I'm in my office waiting for my going away party to start and I'm tempted to leave to watch this instead.

oh shit i forgot it was a a drive like i do song. haven't listened to any demos or old songs from past things in a long time. this makes me really excited for MFC era. he basically just said its going to be heavier, it seems.

 

this album changed my life and is my favorite album of the decade. bittersweet to see the era end.

interesting story so i have a cousin in Buffalo and they played two nights in Niagara Falls so i called him up and was like "yo, are you going" and he said "yeah and i have a bunch of extra tickets cause i know a guy who works at venue." i said okay, "im going to come." so i flew to new york for it and a group of friends went and we all hung out and his one friend starts just absolutely CRYING during Me. IDK something so profound about people who love music and people who make music and i dont know.....i felt very happy to see how amazingly touching music can be to people. explained so many reasons why i love music so much.

Paris is just...so much of what I've been through is in that song.

 

ugh i honestly do love You. it reminds me a lot of my experience with my ex boyfriend who I dated for 8 years. honestly one of the first songs i specifically remember hearing and being like okay, yes, this band is sick. also i went back and looked on AP before it was a goner and i found the first post where i posted after Sex video was released and there was a thread and i wrote "this seems cool i like it." or something along those lines only if i knew what was to come!
