This is why I should actually read threads and not just look at the title cuz I thought there'd be a new album tomorrow due to the thread title I'm a fucking moron
The rest of my updates: The album will be called A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships. Matty decided to change the name from Music for Cars. The album is not finished, but not incomplete. They’ve been working on two albums, but it’s not a double album. The first will be released in October, the next in May. The new single is “Give Yourself a Try.” They’ll be touring in January 2019. The song is now on Spotify.
Touring in Jan 2019? I wouldn't be surprised if they did those radio station holiday shows this Dec, particularly the big ones like KROQ
I'm trying so hard to get past that, haha. It's distracting me from the vocals/lyrics which is my favourite part.
Exciting. Gotta check out that new song. With them changing the title but having two albums geared up, is next year's album called "Music For Cars"?
I'm so 50/50 on this. Vocals are drawing me in as always, but yeah that guitar part is a little offputting. Will be very interesting to see what this is like live (in fucking 2019 lol)
Apparently the second album is called Notes on a Conditional Form Side note, I like the song... wish there was more to it musically, but with such GREAT lyrics I can dig it

THIS. It literally gave me a stomachache. (Weird response, I know, but it did, haha) Other than that, I love it.
The fact that it repeats throughout the entire song is one thing, but they could have mixed it a little differently so it wasn't so damn abrasive. The song started off great until I realized the riff wasn't ending anytime soon.
