I have a feeling they'll mostly stick with one genre/sound on this album instead of going for a big variety
It might be impossible just because my listening habits have expanded so much since then, but I feel like the first 3 albums all had something I've never heard before on them, so I'm hoping this one does.
I’ll be the first to say that’s the dumbest album title of all time, and I’m including Chocolate Starfish.
I feel like Notes had this too, I never thought this band would do something like Roadkill, for example. then there’s People, Then Because She Goes, Bagsy Not in Net, and even like Shiny Collarbone which were all to varying degrees some new twists to their sound imo.
I was gonna say notes had more “whoa that’s new” moments on it than any previous album, it just didn’t all come together to form a cohesive whole
I’m sure it’s an unpopular opinion, but I didn’t like their last 2 albums. I’ll still give this a whirl.
