alright my initial listen was ridiculously good, i cannot wait to let this record take over my life for the foreseeable future

 

I’m unapologetically a huge Jack fan, so I am not surprised but I really like how this sounds. Works well for them imo.

 

Makes that last Bleachers album even more of a head scratcher

 

Human Too is fantastic.

 

The entire time i’m listening to About You i’m waiting for Matty to yell WITH OR WITHOUT YOUUUUUU

 

I like when Jack works with other artists but I don't think I've ever enjoyed a track that was *his*, or Bleachers or whatever.

 

Yeah the vocals feel lacking at times for me too - def a band album and less of a matty album

 

Not exactly a high bar to clear, but Wintering might be the best Christmas song I’ve ever heard, lol

Oh Caroline really is such a wonderful song.

Apparently we are getting Matty and George solo records. I'm definitely more interested in the latter.

 

George as a producer is just a complete force of nature. Quite eager to hear what a solo album from him would be like. Can't wait to listen to BFIAFL tonight!

I love how now that it’s out I’m still not sick of the singles and my least favorite single (All I need to Hear) sounds blissful in context as expected, actually had that stuck in my head at work, simple but relatable
