I’m way overly excited for this single in the morning. This album has me more excited than any music release in recent memory. So stoked

 

I still haven’t been able to stop listening to the first three singles, and PotB has become a daily listen. I’m growing ever more confident that this will be their best album. I will also forever be upset for not managing to get Boston tickets.

 

This guy doesn't need to go to Milwaukee!

Chicago announced today. 12/9 at the Aragon. Radio holiday show as suspected.

Matty on Zane Lowe said there won't be "main support" for the US tour. BLACKSTARKIDS will be starting, but he alluded opening for themselves and having the band play different sets during the same night.

My ideal two sets would be a greatest hits set followed by a bunch of stuff from Notes/the new album lol

I get the Be My Mistake comparison based on the swing/tempo, but I think melodically it actually has a lot in common with She Lays Down. The verses borrow a lot of the same phrasing, just swung and slowed a bit.

 

Love a nice swooning ballad. The production across these songs have been so excellently messy yet pristine at the same time. They found a real lane with Jack.

Huh, that was a different take. I'm assuming the thing he said at the beginning about the best recording being the 1st take was about the album version

Edit: also shows how much the production style adds to this, in my opinion

 

I’ve seen a few comments about how they’re releasing too many singles and I don’t get why people can’t just… not listen to them? I haven’t!
