I go to Coachella every year so the size doesn’t really intimidate me, but all the mud and people holding flags in my line of sight is a no go
During the festival, it becomes our 24th biggest city lol. I believe it’s about 50% bigger than Coachella, with more people at one time too. AND I STILL CAN’T GET A TICKET
I hope someone can record this stream so i can watch later cause it'll be 2:15AM here on the west coast LOL
I worked summer camps in my youth and there were often weeks we became larger than the town we neighbored. Seems similar to that lol
Only because I have the stream up impatiently - I forgot how up and down Biffy Clyro are. Some songs are fucking bangers, others miss for me. Still a great band.
Yeah, I basically just love that three album run of Puzzles, Only Revolutions, and Opposites. Basically just full of bangers like Mountains, Golden Rule, Folding Stars, etc. Some good singles on the new albums but they’re a bit hit and miss. Thought his voice was a bit off today but they’re great live.
BBC iPlayer in the UK. You can just use a VPN if you’re elsewhere. All five of the biggest stages are live streamed there.
I mean, Lolla is huge but being in the city it skews your perspective on how big those crowds can be. Even Chappell's 80k last year felt small amongst the concrete mountains.
Loved the Glasto set. Still going for me but might be lagging and aleady over. So good. Bring on a new album and a new tour.
That moment when the crowd are going mad during the bridge to The Sound and he looks at it and nods to the camera was fucking cool
