People are trying to dunk on Matty's favorite albums really hard on twitter by saying he has good taste but he makes "Target dressing room music" or whatever. I get not being able to hear like, Heroin or Embrace in The 1975's music, but The Blue Nile and Steve Reich are so apparent that he's almost stealing from them lol.

 

Been having a load of health problems in the past 18 months, and as I got in my car to go to therapy today, Give Yourself A Try was playing on the radio. It was one of them moments where several parts of a song seem to speak directly to you, even though you’ve heard it 1000 times.

Had the best session yet where I said I felt I could see the path forward and things are improving, and afterwards I stuck on my “best of the 1975” playlist and just jammed this band on a sunny, summery drive home through the English countryside. Probably the first time in at least a year where I found myself thinking that life is pretty cool, actually.

TLDR: This band rules.
