Azealia has probably released more music I like than the 1975 but she should probably be forced off all social media for her own well being dear lord

 

Being able to buy your way to more characters on twitter was such a mistake

 

It sucks because like many I believed in the shortlived redemption run she was on in 2018/2019, when it seemed like she was apologetic about her self sabotage ways and determined to get her music career back on track. I don't remember what event changed my mind again, but I feel like she's been a full time 4chan troll since. It'd be great if people on social media stopped enabling her for good.

 

Of all hills to die on, calling Charli unattractive is definitely a choice. She’s arguably one of the most beautiful women I’ve laid eyes on lol.

 

It’s so fucking annoying to me how many people who would otherwise agree with this give her a pass bc they think she’s funny and she made 212. She’s a psycho lol

 

I actually don’t believe I’ve ever even heard one of her songs. At least knowingly. I pretty much only know her from being unhinged over the years. What a shame.

212 is a banger, an absolute classic. Not that that excuses anything, but you should listen to it.

 

Yeah she definitely attracts... a certain type of crowd, the edgiest/worst part of stan twitter. She'd fit right in on the ATRL boards from the way she posts.

She had an amazing single 13 years ago which was on a pretty good EP followed by a few mixtapes and an album of pretty lifeless and uninspired music. Basically the poster child for unfulfilled musical promise

 

I'd take the album over the mixtape personally, but she's indeed such a big what if that hearing her music and seeing where she ended up just bum me out

 

Just heard The Downtown Lights over the PA while am here waiting for the excellent Everything Everything (put out a new record in March) and yes I know LIIWMI tips several Hats to it but I wanted to start singing WE'RE FUCKING IN A CAR, SHOOTING HEROIN etc. over it so bad

 

Been rewatching the At Their Very Best….on Amazon. That performance of When We Are Together still make me misty eyed
