I don’t know where else to share this band and if it’s not with fans of The 1975 then I don’t know who would look it

 

I like the strike a lot but the newer releases after a long wait have just…fallen flat

 

Bummer. Maybe it’s because I only recently discovered them but these songs are massive for me

 

Hotel Apache is FINALLY back, after like 4 years away, and their single is right up the typical 1975 fan's alley

This is the one '75 adjacent band that I think justifies their existence beyond '75 homage. The singer is so good and should be a superstar

Extreme MJ vibes vocally. HA should be huge (or at least well known lol)

 

Hard to even put into words what this means to someone like me. It’s no secret this bands music has soundtracked my addiction over the past 8 years but as someone who barely has 22 days clean right now seeing matty achieve 5 years is inspiring beyond belief. sorry but without this man’s music I wouldn’t be alive right now and he’s still setting an example for something I can achieve if I keep at it. giving myself a try etc.

Thanks to the posters who mentioned them. Oddly enough, that little clip wasn't that interesting to me, but it got me to load up a couple songs.

LIVE2CHANGE and Stay are awesome, I'm off to listen to everything else.

BTW, seeing the 1975 here in Oslo Thursday night and I’m very very excited to see them at their very best

 

I need Stay on vinyl, hope it happens someday. What an EP. Also, Dialtone is probably my favorite song by them. Such a banger.

 

The most boring band ever, Been Stellar, is opening for the band tonight - ugh

 

I thought their new single was fine but haven't heard anything else— that bad huh?

 

nothing will beat Oh Wonder opening for them in 2016 my goddddd

 

90% of the crowd was as stiff as a tree for their set, so yeah, pretty blah

 

070 Shake is among the worst live acts I've ever seen when she opened for the band in 2016.

Her albums are a different story. Really like them, especially Modus Vivendi.

 

I feel like opening for The 1975 a year into your career is going to be hard so I would give her the benefit of the doubt on that one

 

I saw dua lipa open for them in 2016. Also muna was good in 2019

Not sure if anyone is still checking in on their tour but The 1975's show in Cologne might have my personal favorite setlist on this tour if not ever
