I'm of the opinion that almost all fandom subreddits are insufferable but band ones are the worst. Only reason why I peruse them is because sometimes there's some info about an upcoming tour that hasn't leaked yet.

 

And part of a soundtrack. It'll make sense in context of the show.

I left the door open to things like gaming subreddits but I don't game a whole lot so I don't know.

 

Is anyone else tired of how Jack/his engineers mic saxophones so you can hear all the air being blown through it?

Yeah George is a beast, but I trust their vision

I just need them to push Jack like Annie does. He’s a good producer when the musicians he works with make him work outside the usual.

I love BFIAFL and Jack in general, but I’m actually with those weirdos for once and I hate to admit that. I’m sure someone more knowledgeable than me can prove me wrong, but I think George is genius. So I’d rather have him continue to do his thing with Matty, while Jack does other presumably great stuff with someone else.

I would love for them to work more with BJ Burton as they originally intended for BFIAFL but it didn’t work out for whatever reason.

I’m much more of a fan of the sound of the cinematic sheen of their first two records than their last 3

 

Did you read the interview where BJ was describing the creative process with them? It’s clear that Matty/George are way more referential in how they pluck ideas than BJ and couldn’t really stay on track…didn’t seem to be a positive working environment for him. Jack speaks their language much more fluently

Would love to see more George Daniels projects outside of the 75. The early Japanese House and Pale Waves stuff he worked on was so gooooood

 

He's worked on a lot of stuff outside of the 1975!

 

He also never stopped working with The Japanese House. So it’s still so good
