Well driving conversation and driving traffic are two different things, aren't they? When someone talks about traffic, specifically web traffic, I think of it in terms of having some kind of value for the site. Not necessarily monetary, but usually so. Conversation is just human nature.

As someone born, raised, and currently living in chicago but more specifically from near the same area of the south side of Chicago Kanye grew up in I would absolutely call out people who still fuck with him in 2023 and also wouldn’t be afraid to say it *shrug*

 

I don't think he's tainted. A tiny minority follows his shenanigans and an even tinier one gives him shit for it. I always remember this place is its own little bubble.

The persecution complex from some of this band's fans is ... a lot.

 

No medal of honor needed, no claiming of 'fighting in the trenches'. Just pointing out I love this band and making a joke of all the discourse that's surrounded this band. Sorry if that's weird. I amuse myself and oftentimes that's enough.

 

The lack of apparent humor is.... a lot. I was on a reddit forum and the top comment on a recent fauxmoi post was this. Along with similar views expressed in here throughout the year, I was just being light hearted on the great day that is spotify wrapped day.

At this point, anyone who still attends their concerts aligns with his views IMO.

To be clear, they were my #1 on spotify wrapped. Had a great year listening to the new album. Sad I'm not catching them on this tour and that it could be a while before my next opportunity but hoping the band doesn't go silent. They have a deep enough discography that I'm sure another great year of listening is in store even if nothing new comes out for a while.
