I am begging this band (and other bands) to print more show posters. Having to get to a show 3-4 hours early for a chance to get one is insane.

 

I gotta say, they were a little sloppy at the end there. There was definitely something up with their click track or whatnot because they were giving each other looks

 

Last night at MSG was my first 1975 show since Coachella 2014 and it was definitely worth the wait. One of the better (non-Phish) MSG shows I have seen in a long time.

The crowd control is super impressive and any show that gets the Garden to bounce like that is a win. Seeing them play ~25 songs and remembering how many bangers don't get played really puts into perspective how deep their bag of jams is. Fun crowd, even if I felt mildly out of place as a 34-year-old dude haha.

 

I went as a 36 year old man and didn’t feel out of place at all.

 

Same. And I danced shamelessly lol

 

Same. These are fucking amazing shows, some of the best I’ve seen. I’m going to enjoy myself.

It also helps that the band is our age lol

 

I'm 32 and my 31 year old buddy and I were super close on the floor and danced our hearts out haha. Legit one of the most fun concerts I've ever been to.

 

I was there as well last night as a 34 year old male.

Didn't think I'd need to clarify but I was happily dancing and screaming the whole time.

 

Also will clarify I had eaten an edible and some mushrooms, so there was some overanalyzing of the situation here and there lmao.

Girls and fallingforyou tonight (axed You and Heart Out). Matty's Dad and Carly again, too. Consumption was different, most of it on the main stage with the wax figure on the sofa (stayed there for the rest of the show) and a montage of old videos of the band. Then Matty went through one of the TVs like last year.

friend of mine met Charli xcx in the bathroom at MSG last night lol

 

I would die if that happened to me

 

i woulve acted cool and she would ask to be my friend

 

Not me. I’d be in a hearse.

 

When I went to a Caroline Polachek show in 2021 Charli XCX sat in the seat directly in front of me for the whole show. It was so hard to keep cool lol

 

I would’ve accidentally spilled my drink on her while walking overly cautiously to my seat.

in case anyone wants to live vicariously, my friend seems to have played it cool and got a classic style girls bathroom mirror selfie with Charli and her crew and a quick selfie video. and she’s certainly enjoying it lol
