Water's not real. It's something our government made up to keep you from your god-given right to the beverage of your choice. Don't fall for their lies.
i adore "give yourself a try," i love every album by this band, but i really fell for the sound of the EPs as they came out! i still fruitlessly hope for a full-length that occupies that r&bstep universe. both i like it when you sleep and notes got close on occasion
My insane take is that more often than not when I want to listen to this band, I just throw on Notes. It might not be their best, but I'm pretty sure it's my favorite. Just super kaleidoscopic when it comes to the styles it spans, not to mention a large collection of their best songs imo
Right there with you. I don’t know how I made it through all of Oppenheimer, but I failed to make it through Talk to Me even
That's the issue with this band, they've done so many sounds so well that I want them to go in so many different directions.
i still would love a full album in the “roadkill” / “the birthday party” / “when we are together” vein
I actually really have grown to love When We Are Together. It hit me perfectly on the live Amazon set
I agree. Not really much of a fan of Roadkill or The Birthday Party. I don’t skip them but the album doesn’t start strong for me outside of Frail State of Mind
I will say that I think When We Are Together is the best of the bunch in that style that they’ve done the last couple albums
Oh yeah! Born and raised Norwegian though. Been a disciple of Tate since before absolutepunk.net Edit: disciple of Tate did not sound good . Those two idiot brothers have tainted the Tate estate
I skip every time, can’t deal with the distorted voice. Something very cringeworthy about it. It also feels like a B tier No Rome song
