A lot of the time they want to be the first and not necessarily correct. I feel like I heard from Van Latham that since they're not a news outlet they don't go through the multiple sources things that other news organizations go through. I still remember TMZ being the first to report the death of Michael Jackson.
Should be illegal for openers to make their own admats like this lol. The 1975’s name is so small on there.
Looks like the boys are giving themselves December and January off, before touring Europe all out for two months straight.
So what kind of influence do we think will creep into this next round of touring? He saw Eras tour in person; probably came across the stuff that FOB did. I could see a "secret song" being done. Or doing something similar to what FOB did when they performed the TTTYG songs and play a set of S/T songs with the big box and simple lighting.
Something around the s/t 10y makes sense with the rerelease, but I’m not sure they’ll want to be on the nose and take some of the stuff from others organically. Some performance art aspect playing off the first tour makes sense too
I can see them adding a cover of a song that's important to them as a band but not really well known otherwise?
While I do agree that their other albums as a whole are better and shows the band’s potential and varying tastes in a stronger way, their debut to me is still one of the best debut albums and was clear to me they were, and could become something special. Not even being hyperbolic but I rarely have gotten that feeling about an artist from the get go.
The anniversary box set arrived yesterday. I didn't have any of the EPs before so it's nice to have them all in one neat package and it looks pretty.
Talk! is all about the groove… when I saw them live first time back in 2014 (2015?), George was throwing in all these crazy fills landing wayyy after the 1 in the count, and mannn I was loving it lol
Can’t stand anything on the first LP/EPs. Save your tomatoes. I’ve tried so many times. I also hate Give Yourself a Try. That guitar tone or whatever is like nails on a chalkboard.
