Yeah their first album is easily my least favorite. I rarely ever listen to it.

 

Same, which is crazy cause I was huge on it back then. I honestly think my favorite album is always the most recent from them.

 

Yeah I rarely listen to the first album anymore. I usually just jump around to whichever songs I want to listen to

 

Last time I saw them they played 25 songs and the only 2 from the debut they played were Sex and Robbers. That’s really all I need from that record live tbh

 

Yeah, I’m okay with just Sex and Robbers live. Wouldn’t mind occasionally getting one or two of Chocolate, Heart Out, Settle Down, Menswear, or Pressure though.

 

Menswear is the big one I have a dramatic desire to see live, all of the others I’d be happy with. Sex always slaps

 

The 1975 (notes on a conditional form) is easily the biggest skip for me and it's not even close

 

My hot take is: that into "People" is a perfect intro to that album and I never skip it, personally

 

this take is worse

 

DeuxMoi claiming on her podcast that Matty was disinvited to Jack Antonoff’s wedding due to the podcast and that George and him are no longer speaking, and Charli XCX giving this ridiculousness the only response it needs in the comments greatly pleases me.

I only heard about that gossip account because of the pop culture podcast from The Ringer.

 

TMZ is awful but they usually get things right and sometimes in advance. DeuxMoi is notoriously known for posting tons of unverified submissions by random people and I'm surprised tons still fall for it like it's 2021

 

That seems like the exact kind of thing that people who hate Matty would love to hear, so I'm sure it's satisfying for them to hear it even if it's completely untrue lol
