I don't think I can make the Seattle show anymore so I'll probably sell my tickets. I was over ambitious with my ability to afford the travel. It's on 12/2 (last night of the tour) and I paid $260 all in for 2 floor tickets and I'd just like to recoup that and nothing more. If anyone here is interested, quote me or send me a message. She has every right to be mad and he should’ve given an actual no bullshit apology months ago, but nothing in that video felt genuine to me and it felt like she was putting on an act. Regardless, dude needs to man up and either give an actual sincere apology and/or speak to her privately, if she’s open to that, because she seems well passed accepting an apology. But he still owes that apology to the other people he’s hurt with his actions, not just her.
The thing is, we all know Matty is a bell end. We've known that for about a decade now. That's not why any of us are into the 1975, and I'm not sure why we'd waste any effort trying to justify his actions. Until he does something that is more than him being a twat, I'm not sure it matters to most people.
He also mocked her statement from Glastonbury in their performance at TRNSMT, mentioning "micro aggresions" before being cut off for It's Not Living, which I get is the edgy gimmick for that part of their set, but I can imagine pissed off Rina even more.
