Was almost there for me. I was really wanting to hear the new version of “I Like America….” live. But the rest made up for it.
I was feral when I saw them both times in 2019. Even in the upper deck of the arena at the radio show.
I took a hit of my dab pen during the interlude and felt like I was absolutely dying for the first few songs of the second set because I held it in for so long trying to make it less thick when I blew it out lol (which didn’t work)
I disagree - I do not think that full set would have fit at the Aragon. I've seen multiple shows at the Aragon where a band had to scale their production back. Even in 2019, The 1975 had to angle their big box set piece to make it fit. The clearance between the high stage and the low ceiling isn't that much, so I don't think the two story house setup was going to fit. The stage is also not as wide as most other venues of its size.
Just got back from the Toronto show. I haven't seen the boys since 2012 and wow, that was a show! They let the crowd decide between my two favourite songs of theirs. A Change of Heart and Paris. Paris won. They also brought Carly out for About You which was wonderful!
I was up in the nosebleeds to the left of the stage. You could see the crowd surge forward when he did that dive.
boyfriend and I lit up a joint and smoked it during the first 2 songs of the 2nd set and not a single person gave a fuck lol.
@Aregala oh snap BSK dropped off, so it seems like it starts at 7 now? maybe we get a two and a half hour set lol jk
oh shit just saw that tweet -- do we think the lads just go on at 7 now then? or we gonna be sitting around twiddling our thumbs until 8:30
think if they went on at the normal they would push the doors back, no? I think the wife and I are gonna get there around 6 to be safe
