I’m interested to see what the set up will be in San Diego since it’s at an amphitheater and I don’t know if the stage has the space for everything.
What’s all the scuttle on The 1975 being on TikTok? Are a lot of folks using their songs for something?
young fans are starting to gatekeep the band because their songs are on tiktok or something, which is pretty funny. idk i'm not on tiktok
Yeah, my wife’s on TikTok and I’ve been hearing a lot of The 1975 intro with Greta over footage of nature and artists and protests and such. Same thing essentially with Love It If We Made It.
Been thinking about starting a tiktok to build an audience for a zine I’m making. But every time I go on there I have a lot of doubts lol. Rewatching the MSG show this morning. Still kicking myself for missing the DC show.
haven't they always had a "tiktokian" (made that word up) fanbase? I remember seeing them in 2014 and people were wearing homemade shirts that said "Matty is Bae" lol
I think part of it is that TT fans are upset over the price of resale tickets. Gatekeeping isn't real, though.
they just mad they couldn't get tickets for $16 day of the show lol I will brag about that for the rest of my life
I think my literal only gripe with this album is the lack of snare presence on "Oh Caroline". The snare gets super buried especially in the chorus, it would benefit from that classic gated sound they used. Still adore the track though.
