I always thought it would be a hassle/not worth it since they're so big, but easily one of my favorite shows I've seen live. The light show is awesome.
See them!!! I thought it would be a headache too, but Matty made sure the crowd was mellow and that everyone was comfortable. He also encourages people to not just throw up their phones every two seconds, and people actually abide by it for the most part. Just an ace environment all around. Really wish there was a Philly date or something within two hours of me :/
Like the two people said above me it's completely worth it. I saw them for the first time this past May and I've been dieing for them to announce these dates to see them again. The light show was awesome.
Thanks everyone for the input! Definitely going to have to make this happen, and that's awesome to hear about the light show. Love a good light show.
sucks no philly date. this will probably be that tour where they start playing this must be my dream, antichrist, undo, and a bunch others like matty tweeted or whatever.
FUCK of course these songs come out when I'm probably not catching this tour. Undo is too smooth, underrated track.
That was a great show. I'm going to the forum for the first time tomorrow for Brand New & Modest Mouse. I hate traveling to LA for shows, but can't miss this.
I'm surprised they are playing a 5,000 capacity venue in Chicago. I was expecting an arena for such a major city.
On the other end of the spectrum, they're playing a 10,000 capacity venue in Newport, KY (which is practically Cincinnati, but still). Never thought I'd have to travel to Newport to see them, but alas, here I am.
There are two open dates after Chicago, and then the following date is only 3.5 hours away. I have a feeling they will add a 2nd Chicago date.
There's some open dates around the time their in the North East, anyone think they'll add a Philly or Baltimore show? I don't want to have to go all the way to Queens or Fairfax for this but may have to.
I paid $75 a ticket in May and only $49 this time around! Super pumped. Never been to a show at EMU though curious how it will be.
