So if first album was the hype night - out album and the second was the chill night in album, what this gonna b?

i hope i like this new one more than their last

 

I'm hoping for a sad night out alone soudtrack tbh

 

What if this overthrows ILYWS as their magnum opus

 

I think this will be a very big sounding record. They've been touring the world and playing massive venues and festivals, billed pretty high. This is gonna be their aim for the stars record, a record that will fill arenas even more so than the last one. It'll be all over the board as usual but more cohesive. Mattys vision will fully come into focus and be less scatter brained and trying to do everything at once. I imagine themes will include isolation due to the touring life, as well as isolation due to the increasing turmoil in global politics, but also some themes of connection between the band and their loyal fan base


And due to the music for cars title I have a feeling the album will have a great sense of momentum and flow f that makes sense

 

If this album is better than the last then they’ll be propelled to top 10 band status for me

 

If this album is better than ILIWYS I'm getting the band permanent inked on my arm.

Yes, I'm going to put it on the inside of my bicep, so when my arm is down, the rectangle is upright, but when I hold my arm perpendicular, they can read the lettering. I was thinking of putting the initials for all 3 albums along the other long side of the rectangle, evenly spaced, as well

 

I don't have a car (I live in Chicago, so it's not weird), so I am going to hop in an Uber and have the driver play MFC at full volume while we go up and down Michigan Avenue for the entire runtime. Should cost about $42.
