Getting my first full listen since last night right now and I’m still having a tough time wrapping my head around this album. Like it was so immediate and I loved it right away, but it’s so expansive that I feel like I’m going to spend a long time actually figuring it out, if that makes any sense.

And by the time I’ve got it figured out we’ll probably have A WHOLE OTHER ALBUM WTF?????

Yeah, 'always wanna die" has this immediate classic rock/nostalgic feel that's pretty awesome. That's by far my favourite.

I want to watch this so bad, but I promised myself I would wait for the album to come out to hear songs that haven't been released yet.

I personally think Robot could have been just as, if not more effective without the Siri voice. I also didn't expect the British male voice (because of what I'm used to hearing), but it makes sense.

The first time you hear it you’re like, this is cute, hahah it said penis, hey this instrumental is good.
Second time it’s like, ok, I’ll listen again I suppose and there’s a cool instrumental on the other side. Third it’s like, hurry up and get to the good part. And then from fourth onwards you just skip it.

Might split out Love Theme on my version.

so I’ve seen a lot of stan twitter tweet about how they think this is good but their worst album. I usually see that everyone thinks the self titled is their best and peak. I do NOT agree with that though

S/T is absolutely not their peak, and I love that album. Tbh, I'm not even sure they've reached their peak yet.

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

I kind of disagree with this. The “song” yes, will not be something I return to when skimming the album but I think it’s important in breaking it up, bringing it into two specific halves. And while the story is a tad lurid in spots, it lays out the absurdity and overarching isolation of technology, and serves as a verbalization of the albums themes. You can argue that it’s unnecessary but I almost always do full album listens and gosh darn it I’m listening to it
