yeah wow going back to the beginning of this album its definitely a bit of journey from start to finish, to the point where you really lose sight of where the album even came from by the time you're at the end.

 

Really glad they put "Give Yourself" right near the top of the album, so you can quickly get it out of the way and forget about it

4:12 into petrichor when the beat starts to get a little wonky is fucking amazing, absolutely fucking mind boggling and note for note a recreation of a burial beat, especially at 4:32 with the fucking subterranean drum sound, it is fucking unmistakable as burial's sound

 

It’s actually a wildly personal record. “Love It If We Made It” and the album title made it seem like they were going for grand, sweeping themes, but about 93% of this is focused on Matty’s Relationships (online and off).
