Yeah, ILIWYS doesn't work as a whole for me either.

Always find myself listening to UGH, Ballad, Somebody Else and then maybe This Must Be My Dream before I call it quits.

  3. I honestly think I've listened to ILIWYS all the way through without stopping like maybe 10-15 times. I tend to gravitate toward UGH!, A Change of Heart, If I Believe You, Paris and The Sound. I've listened to Self Titled a lot more, although I've only been into The 1975 since Summer 2015ish.

  4. Speaking of which, I really hope they don't kill Paris on this upcoming tour.

ILIWYS is beautifully sequenced imo, especially for how long it is

  7. IMO: It’s their best flowing and fully cohesive feeling album. But I don’t think it’s their best album - at this point.

Hahaaa the last time I brought this up everyone here had a meltdown so I'll keep my opinions to myself on this now.

  9. I mean uh oh for this album. A good percent of it is ... that.

I get why ppl prefer the self-titled, but I really have never felt like that album is particularly well-sequenced.

Yeah, that's what I was worried about with the Siri track and one review mentioning there being too many acoustic tracks or something? I'm excited to hear what they've done with How To Draw though. Loved that as a b-side.

  12. It’s mostly instrumental. That’s why I said uh oh. Heh.

Oh it's absolutely not. I just think I prefer more songs overall on that, if we're including the likes of Undo, Me, Milk, You with it.

I’ll probably do what I always do with this band. Hone in on one song, play it 1000 times, move on. Scorched earth policy.

  17. It does not remind me of the EPs.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited. For all I know, I could really enjoy these instrumentals. Just wasn't huge on the last album is all.
