I doubt I’ve played any song this many times in the past decade, let alone this year.

 

I haven’t kept track of how many plays I’ve given the singles, but I have a feeling I’m right there with you.

 

I wanna do the math and I don’t even think all the music I listen to in a maybe month hits this level. Total.

 

I drove for Lyft up until last week, and this band was probably 90% of what I played throughout the summer and fall while driving. I’d just shuffle their discography and let it play and repeat throughout my shifts.

Regarding the new album - Love It has set the bar for the quality I expect of the album. Sincerity is my second favourite, but damn...Love It is just next level for me.

 

The first time I heard the instrumental shift in the chorus is the most I’ve had my mind blown by a new song in a LONG time.

 

I’ve played Love It like 10 times since it came out and I consider that a lot, haha

Apparently I’ve played every single 1975 song a total of like 700 times

That’s not counting cd plays which is the only way I can hear music in my car but still lmao

my most played 1975 song on my computer is paris at 194. id add another 100 to that from phone plays

 

all the play counts for songs from the debut are split evenly between the regular and deluxe edition oops

This British magazine is teasing something The 1975 related for tomorrow... they’ve already done a cover story with the band recently and published their official review of the album, so it’s not either of those things. They’re even posting countdown tweets every few hours.
