I still think I might like the first one as an "album" for it's more streamlined nature than the follow up, but I admire the inventiveness of the second LP.

I'm so incredibly excited for this album and every time I remember there's another album coming next year I get filled with so much joy and happiness.

I have a tough time thinking sonically these two will sound anything alike, but you should still listen to it. It’s a fantastic album

I don't think it is, I'm just getting really jealous thinking about people who can listen to this already haha

Wonder if we're getting either the "Sincerity is Scary" or "It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)" music videos before album release, since both were filmed recently.

If this album is as good as the people who’ve heard it are saying it is, the rollout strategy is even more baffling - why sit on a potentially great album for so long and release it at a time when most people and publications have stopped paying attention to new music, and end of year lists have already been published, giving advances to so few people (and seemingly ignoring those who’ve hyped the band in the past) with a review embargo that doesn’t allow time to build excitement and anticipation? Maybe I’m missing something but I can’t see the logic behind it at all.
