Season 4 is being held until the midseason again, so after the finale tonight this likely won't be back until January.

I wish more of this season had been like the finale. Between Clarke, Lexa, Raven, Octavia, and Abby the women really owned this one.

    - Jaha's got a serious reckoning coming next season.
    - Wonder how they'll handle this new, apocalyptic threat.
    - Thought for a moment that Jasper was wandering off to go kill himself, but I guess the writers decided that had been more than enough for now. Seems likely because apparently they shot two finales and Chris Larkin said that he felt nauseous after reading the finale. So I'm thinking that may have been it.
    - Loved Raven's symbol in the City of Light
    - Also loved Lexa's reappearance and the "death" we probably should have gotten in the first place if they were so intent on killing her off. I keep hoping Alicia just gradually morphs into Lexa over on Fear The Walking Dead. Make it happen, show.
    - “You don’t ease pain. You overcome it. And we will.” Great. Nice parallel to Clarke literally running from her pain at the end of last season after Mt. Weather.
    - Bye, Pike. No one will miss you.

Thought that season was real bad. I just kept checking the scroller to see when that finale would be over. Too bad. Probably still give season 4 a shot of course.

I enjoyed most of this season outside of the weird Bellamy and Pike killing innocent grounder villages plot in the middle of the season. The finale was a little anticlimactic IMO but I'm still looking forward to season four

People were tweeting Adina Porter last night about where the hell Indra was and whether she would be in season four or not. She responded with this.

When pressed further, she began tweeting a flurry of hilarious memes suggesting Indra was busy developing her capitalist empire. You should definitely just sift through her profile because it's amazing.

Yeah fuck this season. It was shit.

  11. It wasn't as good as season 2 but it was far from shit. The complaints I've read about this season were present in the other seasons so I think some of the hate is really undeserved.

Like Nyquist mentioned, i read online somewhere that they shot two different endings. I wonder what the other one was? Rumour is they had one where Pike survived and the one they aired where he died (he's been cast in a new show called Pitch on Fox). It seemed a bit abrupt for that to be the final scene IMO, would have been better placed earlier in the episode

I wanted Pyke to die but that was so anticlimactic....

But I guess at the same time it was kind of fitting for him to die completely unceremoniously.

I'm still fairly certain the alternate ending was Jasper dying via suicide. The cut away from him leaving the group as they celebrated in the background was weirdly abrupt. Chris Larkin said there were things in the finale that made him sick to his stomach when he read them. Devon Bostick has been vaguetweeting about a possible Jasper death (and then quickly deleting those tweets), and Jason Rothenberg was even filmed giving what seemed to be a 'series wrap' speech for both Devon and Alycia, with the rest of the cast and crew giving both of them huge applause and hugs and such as a send off. Also, earlier in the season after Lexa died Jason had this to say:

"You can die if you're a series regular or not. This is going to be a crazy season...it's already been a crazy season. More characters that we love are going to die this season and it's going to happen soon. I think that people need to be prepared for that."

Then Lincoln and Sinclair died but that was really it.

Things that made me laugh that probably shouldn't have:
    - Octavia stabbing Pike
    - Clarke saying "go to him" to Abby

Wasn't a huge fan of the finale. (Especially if I'm comparing it to season 1 and 2's finales). The pacing felt weird to me, and I found Clarke and Lexa's goodbye to be unsatisfying. Plus Abby and Murphy physically pumping Ontari's heart was the grossest thing ever.

I'm definitely interested to see what happens with Jaha in the next season, as well as how Alie's predictions will play out. I also thought Jasper was going to kill himself..I wonder if he'll just magically be better and happy next season (I hope not)

Amazing. The finale definitely could have used Indra. I love her.

The finale was definitely filled with some odd editing. Apparently after the fallout from fans after Lexa's death, Jason Rothenberg was back in the editing bay working on the finale again. Thus we got Clarke's very obviously ADR'd "I love you" and, as you mentioned, some weird pacing and abrupt cuts.

I think having observed surgeries has influenced me, I don't think that scene was that bad haha. For me, the Raven self-harm scene was still the worst thing they did this season.

oh god I was thinking that was coming too
I think the weird pacing/editing may have felt more natural had these last two episodes been shown together, back-to-back.

Other issues with it have been addressed, with reshoots and fan criticism and alternate endings etc, but it felt too obvious to me that this was one episode split in two.
