He was talking about Lindsey Morgan and saying it was a shame that Raven had a disability because it would've been a great storyline to have Lincoln teach her how to fight. As if it wouldn't have been a great storyline to see Raven learning how to fight regardless. And it was more about how that storyline would've been good for Lincoln more so than Raven. Very frustrating, close minded view on people and characters with disabilities.
I would have thought it was otherwise impossible, but that commercial with Chelsea Peretti and Jordan Peele cheered me up.
I've seen it once. Every week, right around this commercial break, my feed goes black for a minute. It's uncanny.
This episode and the trailer for next week made me so anxious. Also, those 30 seconds of Clarke weren't enough.
I personally don't have issues with it but I feel terrible for anybody who is triggered by self harm that goes in unaware. That was fucking brutal.
Okay so I really don't know if I'm comfortable with what they did to Murphy there at the end. I mean that's...I know what the argument will be here but that is rape. "The things I do to survive"? No I'm sorry but no. I am not okay with that.
Yeah I'm done with this show. Playing "sexy" porn music underneath Ontari threatening Murphy's life if he refuses to have sex with her and raping him? Absolutely not. I was originally going to finish out the season but between that, everything with Raven this episode, and the pain montage being shot like a crappy 1950's B horror movie this show isn't worth the frustration anymore
Other than that fucked up rape scene that was a fucking great episode. My heart was pounding the whole time. It's super fucked cause I know they were trying to make it "hot" or whatever, it reminds me of in Orphan Black when Rachel raped Paul, and it made some buzzfeed list of the hottest sex scenes of the year with some bullshit about "women taking control"Lindsey Morgan absolutely killed it, I was legit tearing up during that bit when Alie was making her feel all the pain, and she was sooo creepy when Alie took over her body. I feel like the city of light storyline is finally paying off. I'm glad Clarke is finally back with everyone else. I also really liked how Kane made a point of telling Bellamy that if he turned in Pike just for Octavia he's still lost.
