Hallelujah is excluded from competition because it’s so good and pure that it would automatically win.

I'm amazed at how strong the lead is for Let the Flames Begin so far. Problematic lyrics aside, Misery Business is catchy af.
Rewind Born For This Miracle For a Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic Stop This Song (Lovesick Melody) Let the Flames Begin That's What You Get I always loved Hayley's vocals on Rewind idk why. Maybe a controversial opinion but Crushx3 may be my least favorite Paramore song of all time. The lyrics...ugh. And TWYG is one of the greatest Paramore jams of all time so no contest. For a Pessimist vs When it rains was HARD....they played that song at a show I went to live months before RIOT! came out and at the show Hayley let me say the name of the song into her mic cause I called out the song title before she could say it so I have some memories with that song. Though I think Born for this was the first song we heard off of the album before it came out, iirc. Even before Miz Biz.
Heh I’d switch around each of your comments in your first post in regards to crush and TWYG. Well, I wouldn’t say TWYG is even near my least fav paramore songs, but I never liked how super poppy it was. And I always liked how edgy and unique crush sounds.
I didn't want to say it was bad but yeah I think it's bad. I understand what you're saying - the lyrics on Crushx3 are SOO hard to get past for me though. Though I do love when Paramore ventures into edgier music territory, I think they do it far better with songs like LTFB.
Crush is a lot better if you think about it in context of Josh and Hayley but all things considered it’s just....fine. Especially compared to TWYG which is an all-timer. Edit: that said The instrumental rewrite they did of Crush for parahoy/tour 5 was so fucking cool.
Eh, I understand the context I just really don't think it is well written. Anything Paramore does live enhances their recorded stuff. Some of my favorite musical things that Paramore has done are only in their live sets.
Agreed. The BNE tour intro in particular is a favorite of mine. Also the Miracle outro and the LTFB outro.
It's not that great on the album though. Feels underdeveloped. Misery Business is way better if you're comparing album versions.
^ It's not even close, to me. Misery Business is fucking great. Let The Flames lacks the explosiveness it has live and the best part of it is the outro which isn't on the record.
