I watched the first season of AV and it was just ok.

There's some episodes of Black mirror that fall short but there's a lot to like in most of them.

 

American Vandal is amazing in that it seamlessly makes the shift from a wacky mockumentary to a legitimately compelling crime drama. I haven’t seen all of Black Mirror, but what I have seemed to have a wide range in quality. But it’s definitely a super weird comparison lol

Also I didn't know anything about American Vandal when I started it. Thought it was really dumb for a couple episodes at first.

Really I can only think of like 3 or 4 episodes of Black mirror that I feel like I'll never watch again because they were that bad
