The image of someone biting into an upside-down apple is perturbing for some reason.

 

The same people that bite into apples that way are probably the ones who hang their toilet paper so that you have to pull from the hanging bottom ply, instead of over the top as our creator intended

 

Other than New Light which I'm only so so on i'd say they have a super strong discography. Really hoping we haven't heard the last of them.

This album is a fucking classic to me. One for the ages, it will never get old to me just like Futures by JEW which came out the same year. Glad to own both on wax.

 

So glad they reissued this. Got this one and Under the Iron Sea.

This is an album that I don't think about too often and every time I play it I'm reminded how great it is. One of my most played records, just sounds great on vinyl to me for some reason. Plus my wife never objects to this one

 

Yeah I love this version because it includes On a day like today. The record just doesn't feel complete to me without that one. So happy to finally own this one. It's up there with Blue Sky Noise by Circa Survive as a white whale record that I didn't think I would ever be lucky enough to own. The TAI by Thrice is another one and hopefully eventually Beggars gets reissued for its 10 year anniversary (next year)
