New brockhampton album is one of the best first listens of an album I’ve had so far this year. Really hope this release sticks for me cause I was blown away after the first listen.

 

We were listening to Nearer My God (the song) in the car this morning, and when I turned around my son was holding onto Elmo with one hand and drumming along with with the other

 

That's awesome. These days when I try to play music I like for my kids my son usually says "No, play Daniel song!" and demands Daniel Tiger music.

 

Damn, really?? I was disappointed. Almost nothing stuck with me. I’ll need to listen more tho

Man I’m loving it. “Weight” and “thug life” are my early favorites

 

I enjoyed all the singles leading up to the album (which are not on the album itself) but the record itself just did nothing for me on first listen
