1. Just had a guest get pissed at me cause she bought tickets for the wrong Cinemark and there’s nothing I can do about that. She blamed it on our computer system. Ok.

2. An employee had her first day today and after about two hours she said she had to go outside to move her car and never came back lol

 

at least that would finally solve the Daisy/ Kit Kat girl dilemma

 

I had a bunch of assholes line up last night at 1am to get a refill which prevented me from doing my closing tasks to leave so I ended up telling them the soda fountain was off lol

 

I can't imagine being able to sleep after drinking soda at 1 am, that plus people really suck at reading the room

 

I paid for a large popcorn and large drink because it comes with a free refills

 

I understand that but why get your refill at 1am?! Especially popcorn because we clean out the kettle so you only get stale stuff from a bag of our last batch

 

Yeah I'd probably get the popcorn and then trow it away, but I'd either drink the drink or put it in the fridge for the next day (I'd probably drink it) but it's the principle of the thing.

Also I don't go to movies that late

 

I’m a little surprised that you don’t bring in a cup from home

 

I have been known to do that since regal has plastic cups.
But usually I do buy a drink at cinemark.

 

They couldn't just cancel the tickets for the other theater and get a refund?

Or did hhey want the seats they reserved at the wrong one to be reserved at yours?

 

Well, typically she could cancel them online and get a refund since she ordered them through her account but 1. Her phone was dead and 2. It was past her showtime. She didn’t want them to get switched over (although I’ve had people request as such) but she wanted me to be able to process the refund for another theater, which I cannot. Then she said that it was our fault because she knows for a fact that she bought them on our particular website but that obviously not possible since it’s not like our theaters have the same layout. She dun goofed.

That seems pretty dumb. I've ordered stuff at the wrong location before but if you tell the dummy working there that you screwed up they usually help fix it. Easier to manipulate people when you're nice to them and admit fault haha.

@Dog with a Blog fucking Christ someone complained about Spider-Man being blurry at times and when my manager said that’s how the movie is the guy threw a fit about how we’re all wrong and he’s going to call corporate lmao

 

But the movie was past the showtime and her phone was dead so I couldn’t even look at the tickets. Her best bet would be to call the theater that she purchased the tickets from. The money is in their system, not ours lol

Regarding number 2.... I’ve done something similar. I worked at a call center after three weeks of training i was doing customer service calls for Comcast. About half the first week into taking calls i walked in, looked around for an open call station and at the souls being sucked out of everyone around me...and i walked out and never went back

 

Yeah I'm saying it's obviously her fault and blaming you/the system isn't going to help her.

I walked 13 miles at work today helping out a different department so naturally when I get home at midnight my dinner is goldfish crackers and Cheeto fries.
