pretty uneventful and boring but sometime's that's okay, how did you and the kiddos enjoy your day

 

I got stuck cooking dinner for my wife and her dad/his wife/his mom.

I don't know what I'm doing.

Rice is done.
Beans are done.
Chicken is ..... Not done
Taco shells are work in progress.

Theres plenty of leftovers except for shells, he'll have to eat it without or he can use flour tortillas.

Or he doesn't exist.

Dinner ended up working out. Chicken was a little bit tough but everything else came out good.
Dessert was good too

 

Dessert tasted good but texture was a little bit off. Should have let the cream cheese get to room temp before mixing it with the cool whip

 

Our day was good; we went to my parents' today to celebrate, so the kids got to see their cousins and play. They're pretty good at family functions, but we have three more get togethers this week, and I'm hoping they don't get too worn out.

Merry Christmas to you too! I'm stoked about getting a laminator and a polaroid camera. I'm also pretty excited about the kids' drum set because they love to sing and drum along to everything.

what the hell kind of dessert has cream cheese mixed into cool whip

 

A good kind

Cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 tub of cool whip
Whip it all together
Spread in a graham cracker pie crust (I used an oreo crust)
Optional: top with cherry pie filling or some other kind of thing.

I mixed some of the oreo crust into it instead or topping with cherry pie filling.

Was good.
