Thanks! Yeah it can't get worse than these last few months, so now I'm just ready to go on with my life the way I always wanted it. It's such a weird time, but I'm taking it in a positive way, like in a few years I might look back on it and realize that I've made the right choices and didn't give up when everything was going to hell.

It's been non-stop at work today. I've eaten nothing. The holidays are bullshit but i'm making money so I guess I should just starve and not complain? Maybe eat the money later?

I'm actually developing a migraine. I would like to never be asked to gift wrap a single thing ever again.

 

That sucks. Any snacks around? I've heard that caffeine helps with migraines if there's coffee or a soda machine there.

No I would need to take a quick lunch break. Being a private business, it's really up to my boss. Seeing as how we've been down a person this entire month, and it's only him and I, lunches have been difficult to come by.

This is, without a doubt, the slowest Christmas season I’ve ever experienced. Granted, in 2015 we had TFA and last year it was TLJ so it’s hard to compete with that but still, you’d think 3 new movies would bring people in. Guess not. And last week, Spider-Man performed terribly, which really surprised me tbh. Never seen it like this.

Yeah they put alot of pepernoni but skimped on the cheese. Still really good though.

I feel like it's weirdly stacked this year, like Aquaman Bumblebee and Spidey all have to have the same people going why release them all at once

 

It’s been relatively slow as well. We had 7 concessions people opening Friday morning when we only needed like 3. Draw has been all over the place. Friday everyone saw Mary Poppins and Saturday everyone saw Aquaman.

 

Yeah, very similar crowds.

Lol on Friday we had a 10pm Mary Poppins and it had 3 people.

 

I can't imagine seeing a 2 hour movie at 10, I can't go after 7 or 8 haha

 

I think we talk about movie theaters more than music in this music chat thread

 

Our clientele loves late movies for some reason. It’s not uncommon for us to still have pretty big lines at midnight. I dunno why haha
