I am calling absolute bull again. I had posted 5x5s with playcounts that showed the whole album being played

 

Hard to deny their talents, great guitar player and amazing drummer, but song writing is super lacking so they became super stale. Their first 3 albums have some gems though, but I dropped off after that.

Them seemed to be going down a bad path with songs like "Crying like a Bitch", "Whiskey Hangover" and "Love, Hate, Sex, Pain"

 

Who would have predicted Thrice would become a Seether cover band though?!?

 

They were always closer to a modern rock band then Thursday ever was. While I didn't expect it, I definitely wouldn't think Thursday would be in that realm

 

Thursday goes pop punk Spring 2019.

 

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the end of the Mitskigate reveal.

I've seen a lot of things in my time, but I don't think I've ever seen an album make a year-end list without being fully listened to.

@Bad Frequencies Your punishment is threefold:

1) Complete Mitski discography run
2) Tweet an apology to last.fm for your baseless accusations against them
3) Attend a Mitski show in 2019 (provided that there is a show in your proximity)

 

Honestly if they made a new album I feel like it would be back to the WATT/FC sound and that would bum me out.

Honestly those last 3 albums are just on another level and any day each one could be my favorite

 

1. Already was going to. I’ve heard her newest and Makeout creek plenty of times and like them both

2. Not baseless, and I’m still calling bs on the syncing

Thursday won't give us a poop album.
