hmm. that sounds more like either the cable is going bad and you need a new charger or the power port on the laptop is which is not ideal.

is there anyway you could try it with somebody elses charger for the same computer? that way you can see if it's your charger that's bad or the port.

alternatively if you don't know of anybody with the same computer/charger you could buy a new charger and see if that fixes your problem, if the problem still happens with the new charger then it's the computer's port and you'll probably have to find a repair shop.

 

Thanks for the suggestions! I didn't think of the first solution, but I'll try it before shelling out money. A repair shop sounds kind of expensive... but I'll use it as a last resort. The laptop is an old model, so it looks like it'll be a bit tricky to find another charger that fits. A very few online stores still sell that specific one though, so I'll look into it. Thanks again!

 

yeah it's a proprietary charger plug but I saw some on amazon and walmart, not sure what stores you have locally over there but if you have something like a best buy they probably have some kind of universal charger that might work.

Panera Bagel update day 7: The moment you have all been waiting for this week, my friday bagel review. I was told yesterday but our very own @KidLightning that the Cinnamon Crunch bagel was GOAT (whatever that means), this thread is nothing if not for it's due diligence so me, skeptical considering the source of the declaration, decided to commit to this review even though it has been declared a GOAT. I arrived at panera location near my work there were no cars in the drive thru, a good sign seeing as how I was already a few minutes late and was hoping that this stop would be quick and they would have the bagel I promised to review for you all yesterday. I order my bagel and give my phone number in order to receive said bagel for the low price of $0.00, inside the bagel bag they put a pack of plastic utensils and approximately 7 packs of butter I think they confused me for Colby, nevertheless I drove to my office and proudly carried my bagel to my cubicle, stopping at the refrigerator to pick up the cream cheese. Once I arrived at my desk and checked my email for any urgent issue I opened the bagel bag to my surprise this bagel has no hole in the middle. confused and a little disappointed I reached for the knife and started spreading butter on the bagel, I realize now that not having the hole makes applying spread 10000% easier and there is actually more bagel matter which is good for eating purposes. after applying the butter I applied cream cheese to both halves of the bagel. upon my first bite I noticed the cinnamon-y aroma which was nice. Before I knew what happened the bagel was gone. This is easily the best bagel I've had from panera during this promotion easily unseating the previous first place holder of Cherry Vanilla which had an unfair advantage of having flavored cream cheese. I will definitely be returning to this flavor once I finish trying all the others. I have confirmed the GOAT declaration @kidblink @KidLightning @kidwithhelmet

I'm awful at reading (I usually do Audiobooks) so I'm only a few chapters into Scale currently. When I have my couple of weeks off of work coming up, I'm going to try to finish at least one, hopefully both of them

$40 is standard/cheap imo but idk how far Dallas is for you

 

it's like 3 hours. maybe $40 is standard for you coastal elites but that's kind of alot for a small club show. I think mewithoutYou was like $18 or so.

driving there is fine, it's more of the logistics of if my wife will be ok with letting me go do that, then am I driving home after the show which would probably go until 11 or so, then I won't get home until after 2am.

I guess this is how it's always been, the account I was using wasn't a current member of the movie club so it charges fees. re-joined the movie club for $4.50 using one of my 50% codes, got another free movie ticket and $0 fees.
