Panera Bagel update day 3:

they finally had the cranberry walnut bagel and I brought plain cream cheese from home and applied it to the bagel that had been sliced and toasted. Bagel was ok, not as good as I was hoping. the cranberry was not as flavorful as I would have liked. I now have cream cheese in the fridge at work so buying cream cheese at panera is officially not an option.

I think Mania is great but if you look at the other Grammy nominations I wouldn’t say getting a nomination makes it good haha

 

My new couch is getting delivered in a few hours, and I'm super excited about it. I now feel like a real adult.

 

My vinyl stand is getting delivered today too. Look at us getting cool things in the mail

 

If I'm able to keep my job or find a new on this spring planning on getting new furniture with tax return, ours is like 8 years old and it's been through a lot, the recliner motors went out a long time ago on one of them so it'll be nice to have that back.

I wish I had the space for a proper record player/vinyl display set at the moment, but my wife would have a conniption at the thought of how much space it'd probably take up...which is why everything is staying in storage boxes until we end up buying a house or get a bigger apartment.

But yeah, the couch will be rad because my wife and I have been cramming ourselves onto a loveseat since our move. It'll be nice to be comfortable again during our Mrs. Maisel binge this weekend.

It was a bit pricey, but it's the most goddamn comfortable thing I've ever sat on and with 18 months no interest on the financing, we'll be good on paying it off barring unforeseen craziness.

Side note: When I told my wife I wanted to go to The Dump for furniture, she asked, "You can get good couches at the city landfill?" I was like, "Oh, honey. You didn't have the slogan beaten into your head as a child, did you?"

After a brief Youtube search, I can't find an old ad but it was catchy.
