Totally agree on keeping Jason, he was so good. I really liked Murdered Love and feel like it's their best since Payable of Death. Angels and Serpents Dance didn't do it for me though and it sounds like Circles won't either....

 

Murdered Love had some standouts (Lost In Forever and West Coast Rock Steady), but like every post-Testify album, it sounds like they're going through the motions. There's the classic song in 3/4, the few throwbacks to their numetal origins, the typical punk oriented song, the ska one, the ballad with empty platitudes about love and faith, etc. Rinse and repeat every three years. I don't remember anything from The Awakening. Socal Sessions was good though, it's not a surprise that they shine in an acoustic form. I'm going to put the new one tomorrow for curiosity.
