Don't call it a comeback!!!

 

Final set of Nadal/Muller has been wild.

 

What a fifth set this has been

 

I used my lunch break to watch the fifth set. My damn lunch break is now over

 

I am constantly amazed Nadal doesn't get a time violation every service game.

And that Muller didn't say "I just dealt with that reflection on my service game, get on with it."

 

This is some 7 Days in Hell stuff

 

I'll always enjoy watching Nadal lose. I need a beer or six after that fifth set. Stellar stuff all around.

 

Really pleased for Muller.

 

Great to watch the Nadal Muller battle. That's what I love about tennis. Epic.

My dad and two brothers are texting endlessly about Wimbledon throughout the day!

 

Venus is playing like she's 22 again and it's beautiful.

 

Like I think we (collectively as tennis fans) forget that Venus would probably have Serena-like numbers of dominance if Serena wasn't around. It's truly amazing how great they both are, and by comparison, frames Serena as even better.

 

Yes, that's why it would be cool for her to win again. Who knows, Serena may return by next year. Not opposed to a new champ at all though, that would be cool.

 

I want Venus to get one more Wimbledon. I'm 100% guaranteed to happy sob if she gets it.

Would love Venus to win again after all this time... but I'll be supporting Konta until she goes out. That would be a great story after only winning one match at Wimbledon before this tournament. Late bloomer.

 

What a fantastic break game from Venus. Experience really does show in those exact moments.

Konta/Halep has been some incredible, high level tennis. I hope it goes two tiebreaks and a very long third set. Winner of this/Venus has to win the tournament.

 

I've not seen a woman's match that good for a long time. Go Konta! Bring on Williams!

 

I never really was into tennis before but I've been watching Wimbledon a bit. Was hoping Ostapenko would beat Venus today, oh well (is that bad I rooted against my own country ?)

 

I don't think Murray has looked like himself throughout this tournament. Interesting watching this match with Querrey who is doing very well.
