Only started watching in 5th set. Alaraz' serve to go 5-3, when he was up 40-30. Cant help but think that Sinner wide ball was a missed opportunity for him whne he lost the game.
Genuinely terrible crowd shouting at such a crucial point. Also from brief moments i seen... did not see sinner coming back into it!!!
Also as a side point, this nike clothing they have on is kinda awful. I love plain nike gear, but sinners looks like something youd see by a kid by the pool!
Loving watching this Alcaraz vs Fognini match with my three year old daughter. First time she’s taken a proper interest in tennis!
I get the move, but I dont know if im a fan of it. Im lucky enough to have been to wimbledon half a dozen or so times, and part of the fun was the line challenges etc. Im guessing people probably said same as me about hawkeye. am i getting old?
if you miss humans making bad calls, there is still plenty of that going on in professional american football and baseball. lol personally, it seems like a progressive move shifting towards automated too-close-to-call plays. i get what you’re saying, it takes a romantic element out of the game. but i don’t really want to see a game decided by a judge or ref.
Not seen Djokovic play like that in a long time. Post match interview was him basically saying its his age catching up with him.
Theres a really funny clip of Kyrios on USA tv when it was happening. His recommendations were to throw the first set, do some under arm serves etc etc throw her off here rythm. Was pretty funny. Also he announced his playing sabalenka in a singles match in hong kong later in the year whcih should be intersting!
