Absolutely shameful that the Aussie Open granted Novak a "medical exemption" to the vaccinate mandate. What fucking possible "acute medical condition" could Novak have that justified a medical exemption? What an absolute fucking farce.
I mean reading this article there are two independent panels reviewing the cases. So you’d like to think no foul play. Djokovic to compete at Australian Open
I find that it strains credulity to accept that a vocal anti-vaxxer, who also happens to be on the verge of setting a record at the tournament he plays best at, has an “acute medical condition” no one was ever previously made aware of that just so happens to quality him for an exemption. And of course, for the sake of “medical privacy” we will never be told what condition he has to qualify him. This is a farce. Plain and simple.
They were pressuring sabalenka all of last year to get it, I doubt they so much as ask djokovic nicely lol there seems to be such a massive difference in the way they treat the players
Djokovic and other athletes can enter Australia on exemptions but my partner still can’t come here. It’s been two years since we’ve seen each other
Paul Sakkal on Twitter: "Breaking: Novak Djokovic's visa has been cancelled. He's been told to leave the country today, two sources confirmed to @theage. His Lawyers are in the process of appealing. He's not demonstrated to Border Force sufficient evidence for his exemption https://t.co/TM5BF0Gu80" / Twitter HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I can't wait to hear McEnroe cry about this during every single broadcast. It's gonna be so satisfying.
Please let Rafa or Roger win the Aussie so Novak is no longer tied and poised to break the record. I want that so badly.
I know it’s absolutely nothing to do with the drama ensueing with djoko But I got for Xmas some Castore Andy Murray clothes. And I’m not going to lie, expected an overpriced t shirt(and it still is) but it’s the comfiest gym shirt I’ve worn since I can remember.
the question is if this vaccine drama makes novak more or less popular with American tennis fans I think the answer is more, regrettably
