Rules are rules. Didn't seem intentional, but Djokovic has always had a problem with controlling his frustration on court. He gets real pouty when matches aren't going his way. It's a shame though.

I'm so happy he got it together over those final three sets! I'm really hoping for a Zverev - Shapovalov - Medvedev - Thiem semis.

 

The Djokovic thing was wild. I agree with the decision. Some people on Twitter are nuts accusing the lineswoman of over reacting. Imagine getting hit in the throat with a tennis ball regardless of pace.

When Serena plays someone she respects, she’s an entirely different player. That’s always been her weakness (go all the way back to Wimbledon 04 vs Sharapova).

Exceptional night of tennis. I want Serena to get 24 (and 25) cause Court is a piece of garbage, but I don’t know that she’s gonna get over that line ever again. But hey. She’s still top 5 at basically 39 so who knows.

Rooting for Vika and Osaka. We can’t lose with either of them.
