I had a great time on Crt 1 on Monday. A bit gutted federer playing on Crt 1 on Wednesday though, not seen him play in person before.

Isner-Anderson tiebreakers last longer than my long term relationships

 

Isner only plays marathons

 

Isner gets to the fifth set in a must break to win tournament and goes “Not this shit again.”

Still baffled by Wimbledon’s decision to not have fifth set tiebreakers.

 

This match needs to end.

Anderson doesn’t look like a player playing back to back fifth setters with a groin injury. Elite Tennis players are the greatest athletes on the planet and I’ll never be convinced otherwise.

 

At this rate Nadal and Djokovic aren't even going to get to play.

Disappointed for Nadal but what an incredible match.

 

Great match from Kerber. 22 years since Steffi Graf won Wimbledon as the last German to do so. What a great achievement. So proud!

 

I was hoping the final would be over before the World Cup final but I didn’t expect it to be moving THIS fast.

 

Disappointed - just a shame that Nadal vs Djokovic was the semi rather than the final. I love a tight spectacle for the Wimbledon final!

 

Wimbledon has to change the fifth set tiebreaker rule. The winner of Isner/Anderson never had a chance the instant it got past 10-all. Both John and Kevin have had positive results against Djokovic and Nadal before in more fair competition, too, so it's pretty easy to spot the discrepancy.

 

Yeah, even with the Nadal vs Djokovic match going into Saturday and lasting over 5 hours, it was always going to be a stretch for Anderson.

I think someone suggested having a tie break at 12-12 and I think that’s a good compromise.
