Can I be Federer's backhand when I grow up?

    Federer is timeless. GOAT.

    I do not exist.

He's been flawless throughout this tournament. Can't believe he didn't drop a set! And to win his first Wimbledon since 2012 - even if the final was underwhelming it's such an incredible achievement!

Unlucky Cilic. Tough match for him and always hard to lose a final.

I knew they gave Maria a WC entry for the slam, but hot damn, Simona should be PISSED about this :crylaugh:

Oh man, that's an unlucky first round opponent for Simona haha. I reckon she'll still get over the line, though.

First two day reactions because I just realized I'd missed them:

Shocked that Jack Sock was upset in the first round with the year he's had.
Federer dropped the first set? What madness is this?

Sharapova beating Halep was 0% surprising to me. That's her worst type of opponent.
Kerber being dismantled is a very surprising to me.
    Muguruza-Pliskova final, then?

Federer needs to stop giving me these mini heart attacks. That didn't look promising for a while there.

Nadal-Daniel has been the opposite of what I expected.

    So. Many. Upsets.

The bottom half of the men's draw is literally a clusterfuck. It's awesome.

WTA without Serena is one of the most parity-equal sports in the world. So much fun tennis today.

Disappointed for Shapo but he put up a hell of a fight.
